Back to Basie is Britain's primary Count Basie tribute orchestra, directed by trumpet player Paul Lacey and featuring top session musicians and jazz soloists dedicated to playing the music of Count Basie's second great orchestra of the 1950s and 1960s.

Back To Basie features vocalist Jacqui Hicks alongside the best of London's jazz and big-band musicians playing the music of Basie's second great orchestra of the1950s and 1960s, the legendary Swingin' Machine.
