Barb Jungr enthrals audiences with unique cabarets synthesising chanson, jazz, blues, storytelling, musical theatre and improvisations. Taking a break from this year's tour of her critically acclaimed 2014 album release, Hard Rain The Songs of Bob Dylan & Leonard Cohen, the UK's finest interpreter of song, Barb Jungr will return to sing the songs of Nina Simone, as part of the London Jazz Festival. Barb, along with her accompanist and co-arranger, Simon Wallace on piano and with Davide Mantovani on bass, will revisit much of the material from her greatly lauded 2008 album for Linn Records, Just Like A Woman (Hymn to Nina).
