The BBC Elstree Concert Band comprises 40 musicians, some professional and other enthusiastic amateurs. Their repertoire is wide and you will be treated to an array of styles from light classical pieces, compilations from stage musicals to operettas and music from the movies. This 40 strong band will put their own distinctive stamp on a selection of music from the golden years of musical theatre. The BBC Elstree Concert Band's Musical Director, Mike Crisp, has written music for many television programmes under the pseudonym Jack Point.
