Founded in 1988 the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet was, and still is, the first permanently established wind quintet in the Berlin Philharmonic's rich tradition of chamber music. The ensemble regularly performs on the international circuit and their television and radio recordings are popular throughout Europe and North America. This evening offers the audience a unique opportunity to get close to the orchestral winds in a concert celebrating their repertoire and instruments.
