A cast of young performers from Lambeth & soloists. The nine-month long Bernstein Project draws to a conclusion in a rare performance of one of Bernstein's most astonishing pieces. In a weekend of musical participation, Marin Alsop leads this unique event featuring a giant cast drawn from the local community performing with professional artists. The entire Mass Orchestra, a rock band, choirs, soloists, a marching band and dancers join together to celebrate the extraordinary spirit of Bernstein.
