Welcome to a country idyll! You know that spring is here when you start hearing the cuckoo and the mountain snows begin to melt to feed the streams and rivers that pass by villages and towns. As the sun brings warmth it is not long before the skylarks are calling to one another on warm thermals, but summer heat has its dangers, thunderstorms can catch you unawares and delay the harvest, and watch out for those pesky wasps!
