The fine young Equinox Brass Quintet brings a lovely mix of music starting with a little baroque from Mouret, Bach and Tartini, moving on to Rossini and the Malcolm Arnold's splendid First Quintet, touching Russia with Khachaturian's Sabre Dance and Ippolitov-Ivanov's Entrance of the Sardar, and ending up in the USA with Scott Joplin and John Philip Sousa.
