The Brodsky Quartet has won awards for its innovative programming, including the discovery and championing of neglected works. In this concert, the Quartet will also be performing their own arrangement of Ravel's extraordinary ?Blues', Schubert's haunting ?Quartettsatz', Puccini's Crisantemi, his heartbreaking elegy to his dear friend the Duke of Savoy, Wolf's magical Italian Serenade and last but not least, to mark his 150th anniversary, the magnificent quartet by Debussy. With this colourful programme and the release of ?Petit Fours', an album of their renowned encore arrangements, the Quartet celebrates its Fortieth Anniversary - and exactly thirty years since its d?but at Wigmore Hall.
