For their 10th Anniversary production Serendipity presents a fast-moving revue celebrating the 'Father of American Musical Theatre' Jerome Kern. All his famous songs such as Ol' Man River, Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, Bill, A Fine Romance, I'm Old Fashioned, Long Ago And Far Away, They Didn't Believe Me, and Can't Help Singing will be featured together with rarely heard treasures from the archives. Joining Serendipity will be the delightful soprano Marilyn Hill Smith. A regular favourite on BBC Radio's Friday Night is Music Night. Marilyn has appeared with the English National Opera and Scottish Opera, as well as proving a great success with Serendipity's tributes to Noel Coward and Ivor Novello.
