Carlos Bonell is one of the world's leading guitarists, and his ensemble is one of the most exciting and creative guitar-led groups around. Together with renowned flamenco dancer Elisa, they present Millennium Fiesta, a programme which explores Spanish music and dance of the last thousand years, from the ancient roots of flamenco to the work of Falla and Lorca this century. The Spanish colonial experience is also represented by traditional music from Argentina, Brazil and panpipe music from The Andes.
