Carreg Lafar means 'speaking stone', an echo stone. Active in the Welsh traditional music scene for some 20 years, their passionate and lively performances have changed many peoples' view of traditional Welsh music. Through a mix of traditional and original music, the group presents a vibrant spirit with its roots in the language and living tradition of Welsh song and dance music. The band has recently recorded a new EP 'Y Cadno' (The Fox) with a view to releasing a new album this year.
