The purpose of the project is to generate a body of short works of no more than three minutes, musically substantial but technically non-virtuosic, for small chamber ensembles. Three very different educational bodies, Bath Spa University College, the Royal College of Music and the Oxford Contemporary Music Festival, have accepted the invitation to participate in both the composition and first performances of the works.
