Chechelele is a mixed group of adults who sing for fun. The group was formed in 1994 and has developed a reputation as one of the most unusual, entertaining and innovative groups in the folk and 'world music' scene. Chechelele perform songs from all over the world and specialise in Balkan music and African songs, usually singing them in the original language.
