Formed in 1921, the choir is based in Aberdare in the South Wales valleys, where the people's love of music making is only matched by their love of rugby. It is therefore fitting that some of the choir's most impressive credits involve their national game. Cwmbach Male Choir is one of the best-known names in the male choir world, performing in many prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, and numerous Cathedrals' worldwide. The Choir has shared the stage with many world famous artistes including Sir Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Sir Cliff Richard and Katherine Jenkins to name just a few.
