Star of BBC Radio 2 David Jacobs comperes this concert celebrating the very best sounds of the great swing era or Our Kind of Music. This sixteen piece Big Band which last year brought you the Authentic Tribute to Lita Roza will this year be joined by singer Gary Williams (star of the West End's Rat Pack and regular on Friday Night Is Music Night). The programme will draw on the libraries of bands such as Ted Heath, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Harry James, Stan Kenton and Duke Ellington plus a special salute to Mr Sinatra himself.
