A pioneer of improvised music in the 1960s, Evan's approach to the soprano saxophone has influenced saxophonists around the world. For the first time he'll be joined by Seymour Wright who has emerged as one of the most important and innovative saxophonists of his generation. Wright shows a command of the saxophone which in contrast to most 'non-idiomatic' playing has deep roots in a tradition of playing that goes back to Frankie Trumbauer, Coleman Hawkins and Willie Smith.
