UK pianist Dorian Griner experienced his first infatuation with music at the age of 7. He began his studies under the supervision of his mother Bozena Griner, herself an accomplished pianist and professor, a graduate from Moscow Conservatoire, having studied piano with famous Heinrich Neuhaus (Richter and Gilels were among his pupils). From her Dorian inherited his passion for piano, which later was developing into an individualistic, poetic approach, which distinctively favours repertoire from Romantic periods.
