Over the past five decades Eddie Palmieri has established himself as one of the great icons of Latin jazz. Born in Spanish Harlem in 1936, he formed the seminal Conjuto La Perfecta, influenced by the leading Cuban players and jazz luminaries of the time. Since then, he has made almost 40 albums, received 9 Grammy Awards and written more than 200 compositions. Today he continues to export his explosive mix of seductive salsa and hypnotic jazz vibes the world over.
