Scots born Eric Bogle is one of Australia's foremost folk singer/songwriters. Eric's many admired songs include No Man's Land (The Green Fields of France), and Leaving Nancy, and he has been covered by such diverse talents as June Tabor, the Pogues, Donovan, and Billy Bragg. His best known composition And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda has been recorded by more than 100 artists. The owner of both a United Nations' Peace Medal and an Order of Australia Medal for his music, Eric is a much loved performer of international standing.
