Extractor was formed in 1998 By Andrew Deakin, Martin Robinson, Vicki Spong and Catherine Bassett as a vehicle for their interest in various aspects of sonic intervention and live performance. Extractor combine DJ sets, interactive performances and audience contribution. Custom built hardware and software systems enable real time synthesis and processing using unique gestural interfaces and instruments. This evening's performance will use various found sound sources as the starting point for playful and exciting improvisations which push the limits of sonic art - anything could happen.
