The Christmas carol concert will include children from primary schools across the city, and in addition to carol singing, the evening will also include an art competition, some readings, and a short drama production. Carols will include traditional favourites like ?Away in a Manger' and ?Once in Royal David's City', alongside more modern ones, including ?Swinging Shepherd's Blues' and ?A Caribbean 12 Days of Christmas'. The event has been running for over 50 years, and The Lord Mayor will be in attendance to present to winners of the art competition. Audiences will be invited to sing along with the children, as part of a unique evening guaranteed to be full of festive cheer.
