Frankie Gavin and Brian McGrath

T1591222853
Master Irish Traditional fiddler Frankie Gavin founded the Irish traditional super group De Dannan on the same day he won the 'All Ireland Fiddle and Flute Championships'. Although influenced by early Irish musicians Frankie has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, from The Rolling Stones to Yehudi Menuhin. He arranged and recorded the original sound track for the TV series The Irish RM, and has recorded 7 solo albums and 16 albums with De Dannan. Brian McGrath is one of Ireland's most popular traditional musicians as both a piano accompanist and banjo player, Brian can be heard on recordings of some of Ireland's finest traditional musicians.
