Hot from Tokyo this eclectic performance, mixing traditional Japanese instruments, Japanese folk songs and pop music. Featuring one of Japans most acclaimed and experimental vocalists Sizzle Ohtaka. Images of contemporary Tokyo, ninja, computer graphics, and art works by manga writer Tetsuya Chiba create a stunning visual backdrop. Sizzle Ohtaka (vocal); Morgan Fisher (keyboards, programming) ; Etsuko Takezawa (koto, sho, jiuta- shamisen); Bruce Osborn (visual director and camera); Kozo Chiba (CG artist). The night will be followed by DJing in the bar from 10.30pm with XFM's Nick Luscombe joined by musicians from the Futon Logic collective.
