Cult band. Seeded in Paris during the 1968 student riots, Gong wove their original magic with an imaginative mix of jazz fusion, eastern/world music, tape loops, space funk, jazz house and psychedelic electro-acoustic all laced with self-deprecating humour - and now their underground influence is huge. To celebrate their 40th Anniversary of live touring, and marking their first UK visit for nine years, Gong - the progressive/psychedelic rock band founded in 1967 by Australian musician Daevid Allen - hits the road again.
