The Gospel Messiah is Handel's perennial Christmas and Easter favourite re-imagined, with its recognisable arias, choruses and orchestration infused with jazz, gospel, R&B, soul and pop. With an original concept by Marin Alsop and musical arrangements by Bob Christianson and Gary Anderson, it is now a seasonal fixture at venues across the US since its 1993 premiere in New York.
