Grand Union Orchestra - On Liberation Street archiveBringing together musicians from all over the world, the Grand Union has forged a reputation for bold, large-scale music shows. The 18-strong Grand Union Orchestra is joined by over 150 young musicians from Leeds to create a poignant show marking the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. On Liberation Street blends the performers' stories and experiences with bhangra, classical and folk music of the Indian subcontinent and an eclectic mix of jazz, Latin and African rhythms.
