We are holding special weekend of string quartets to celebrate the 80th birthday of distinguished violinist and chamber musician, Hugh Maguire. Hugh has been involved with the Aldeburgh Festival and the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme throughout his long career, and these three concerts are given by ensembles whom he has taught and mentored over the last twenty years, making an unrivalled contribution to the development of chamber music in the UK and Europe.
