Seren Irish dance classes are run by Cheryl and Lizzie john who are sisters that have Irish danced for almost 21 years. They've been running the seren school of Irish dance for almost 9 years and have had great success in competitions around Europe. Dancers have competed in many competitions in Swansea, Ireland and even Holland, and always return home with plenty of medals and trophies. We've had many champions in the dance school, and have lots of up and coming champions in the making. Tonight you'll see the seren Irish dance show team, who practice up to 3 times a week to get these dances perfect. Also performing in the concert is The Greenhill School Jazz band, which was formed over ten years ago and they have enjoyed taking part in events, competitions and gigs across the county since. They mainly perform traditional Big Band style music, but also enjoy adding their own Jazz flavour to other popular songs. The current band is made up of pupils in years 11 -13, all above grade 6 standard.
