Details

Bob Fox, Jez Lowe and Julie Matthews are three of the most popular, hard-working and enduring singers on the UK folk and acoustic music circuit, well-loved and respected by audiences and colleagues alike. They come together to perform a concert of songs and stories commissioned by BBC Radio 2 for the first "new" Radio Ballads since the original, ground-breaking programmes of the 50s and 60s by Ewan MacColl, Peggy Seeger and Charles Parker. All three are consummate, engaging, multi-instrumental performers of meaningful songs and stories, whose skills have been honed by decades of live touring around the globe.
