The Norwegian percussion/guitar duo of Ingar Zach and Ivar Grydeland was formed in 1999. They have released two CDs "Visiting Ants" (2000) and "You Should Have Seen Me Before We First Met" (2004) and have toured and played at major festivals in most parts of eastern and western Europe, the US and Canada. They both use prepared instruments in order to create new sonic possibilities in the small band. Zach and Grydeland formed the label SOFA in 2000, and have released 18 CDs with improvised music since then.
