In the 1990's, Innes joined Robert Plants band for his tour 'Fate of Nations' where he played throughout the United States, enabling him to play with some of his heroes like Buddy Guy & James Cotton. Innes is a European blues festival regular and frequently tours of Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium & Lithuania.
