John Lenehan's fascination with the relationship between film and music has encouraged him to work with silent films in concert for more than twenty years. He has created this entertainment combining early silent film with piano accompaniments old and new. The films include ‘Shall We Dance?’, ‘The Hours’, ‘The Count’ and ‘The Piano’, while the composers include Gershwin, Fats Waller, Satie, Scott Joplin and Michael Nyman.
