In 1973, singer-songwriter Jake Thackray performed at the inaugural concert of Sherman Theatre, alongside his friend and music hero, Georges Brassens. Now John Watterson, the UK's foremost performer of Thackray's work brings Jake's wit, irreverence, humour and humanity back to Cardiff, with a hilarious and heartfelt celebration of the life and songs of one of our greatest wordsmiths. Highly entertaining whether you are discovering Jake for the first time, or an ardent fan. Special guests Rudolf Rocker open the evening with some English language versions of Brassens's songs.
