Globally recognised amongst the top rank of classical guitarists, John Williams has made over thirty best-selling recordings across a broad range of styles, including music for films such as Deerhunter (Cavatina), A Fish Called Wanda and collaborations with groups such as Sky, Attacca and Inti Illimani. Two artists, internationally renowned composer and kora virtuoso, Tunde Jegede and the extraordinary South African guitarist, Derek Gripper perform a rare evening of the music of Mali. Gripper will play from his recent album One Night on Earth: Music from the Strings of Mali, which features his own transcriptions of legendary kora player Toumani Diabate
