Saxophonist Julian Arguelles has been widely acclaimed for his work with musicians such as Carla Bley, Mike Gibbs, Kenny Wheeler, Evan Parker, Andy Sheppard, Hermeto Pascoal and Django Bates. He played in the ground-breaking Loose Tubes Band for four years and has won several BBC awards. He is renowned for his unique ability to write pieces which are modern and progressive while still having great tunes.
