Kushal Das is one of India's most successful concert sitarists. His performance is marked by outstanding maturity and depth. His rich melodious tone, incredible speed, superb rhythmic work and emotional content - the essential element of Indian classical music - are the predominant virtues of his music. Sura Ranjan Mukhopadhyay, born into a family of musicians was initiated into Indian Classical Instrumental Music at the age of seven by his father Sura Ranjan is a regular sarod player of All India Radio and Television and has performed in major concerts both nationally and internationally, as has Kushal Das.
