George is a legendary figure on the Midlands jazz scene; a band leader and star guest on reeds, who has built up a loyal following at the Keswick and Bude Jazz Festivals. He excels on clarinet and soprano sax: his soaring soprano style has often been likened to the sound of the great Sidney Bechet.
