A Celebration of Olive Guppy - T01214530811

Join us in paying tribute to a legend of Welsh show business, Olive Guppy. Olive taught dancing in Cardiff for over 70 years to thousands of pupils. In this special one-off charity show enjoy again Olive’s famous routines recreated by her former pupils in the theatre she knew so well. It will be a performance of nostalgia, happy memories and, perhaps, a few tears too. Also appearing will be some of the great artistes whom Olive worked alongside and remained friends with for 60 years or more; including Cardiff’s own King of Comedy - Stan Stennett, Johnny Tudor, Peter Lewis and also Howell & Pat Evans, who first worked with Olive during the Second World War. We know that Olive will be looking down on us and loving every minute, we hope you can be here too.
