The Very Best of British Light Music

The instantly recognisable radio theme tune, the melody that you can't help humming - light music has been part of our nation's psyche for well over a century. Alongside concerts featuring John Wilson and Lesley Garrett, join us for free events, including playing in the world premiere of a specially commissioned fanfare in Brass on the Bridges, taking part in Voicelab's singing workshop or The Archers Big Busk and dancing to the BBC Big Band or the John Wilson Orchestra to trip the light fantastic!
