During the 1930s and 1940s, British composer Benjamin Britten wrote musical settings to many of WH Auden's poems, including Stop All the Clocks. In this unique celebration of Britten's centenary, Simon Russell Beale (described by The Independent as "the greatest stage actor of his generation") reads Auden's words between new arrangements of the songs by Ruthie Culver and the UtterJazz Quartet
