The celebrated Mardi Gras Band was originally formed as the BBC York Jazz Band and has featured guest musicians including Humphrey Littleton, Alan Barnes and Henrico Tamasso. The band has played on the QE2 and at Castle Howard and during the current season has had more than 150 engagements.
