Hailed as a 'percussion talent deserving greater attention', in 2001 Marilyn Mazur will finally receive the Jazzpar prize, which has been won by, amongst others Django Bates. Since jazz pianist Carsten Dahl graduated from the Danish Rhythmic Music Conservatory in 1990 he has made a resounding impact on the jazz scene.
