"Soulful and exuberant" (Time Out) vocalist Mark Jennett celebrates the release of his second album, Everybody Says Don't (Jazzizit Records). 20th century standards and 60s pop favourites from writers as diverse as Cole Porter and Randy Newman rub shoulders in an evening of tuneful, high-spirited music-making. For Everybody Says Don't, Mark collaborated with renowned arranger and producer Geoff Gascoyne whose other work includes highly acclaimed albums with Jamie Cullum and Jacqui Dankworth.
