X Factor's 2010 winner. English singer-songwriter and guitarist Matt rose to fame after winning the seventh series of The X Factor in 2010. Winning the competition secured him a £1 million recording contract with Syco music and his debut number one single "When We Collide" was released immediately. It sold 439,000 copies in its first week to become the UK Christmas number one. Matt's debut single When We Collide spent three weeks at number one after he won The X Factor. It sold over 1 million copies and led to the release of his album Letters which was later certified platinum. A year later he released the self-produced LP The Fire in October 2012 which debuted at number eight in the charts. Now with two Top 10 albums and four sell-out UK tours under his belt, Matt's third album, Porcelain, has seen him return to writing and producing but also includes collaborations with multi-platinum selling writer/producer Toby Smith and 16-time Grammy Award nominee Brian McKnight. Porcelain is Matt's first album to be released internationally and the Worthing gig will give fans the chance to hear both tracks from his early career as well as his most recently released material.
