Fresh from the first night of their latest production recently performed at The Minack, the company presents a lively evening of glorious opera work. It includes parts of the current tour, Cavalleria Rusticana, together with arias, duets and chorus pieces from many other popular operas. New Cornwall Opera is now an established and respected pro-am company with several appearance at the Minack and the Hall for Cornwall behind it, together with numerous successful tours of the region. With its own chorus and newly established orchestra for larger events, the company boasts several excellent Cornish principals. It also supplements the ranks with outside professionals on occasion. This is an evening that will certainly delight opera lovers. In supporting this good cause for The Acorn, non-opera lovers will also find this a worthwhile evening - they may even be gently converted!
