Details

Two of Brazil's greatest performers on stage together. Gil was a catalyst for the Tropicalista movement which redefined Brazilian culture in the 60's. His music combines traditional roots with urban sharpness, an acute political edge and the familiar sounds of Brazil with an international language that encompasses reggae, jazz and African influences. Nascimento is one of the best known Brazilian artists outside his native land. With an extraordinary, soaring voice and a genius for songwriting, his music has struck private chords in diverse millions worldwide. This concert is to be re-scheduled - the artists have changed the dates of their European tour. Refunds on your tickets can be made by applying to the Royal Festival Hall Box Office: 020 7960 4242.
