Born in New York Richard Hall (aka Moby) began learning classical guitar at the age of 10. He spent his teenage years in various bands absorbing influences from speed metal to punk. His first single, "Go", shot straight into the UK Top 10 and established Moby at the cutting edge of dance-trance-pop. Triple platinum album, "Play", has further established Moby as a major player on the dance scene and helped to cement his reputation as a top producer and remixer. His services have been called upon from the likes of Michael Jackson and Metallica, and he has had to turn down requests from Hole, Guns'N'Roses and Madonna.
