Marva brings together musicians from North Indian, western classical and jazz traditions to create a unique, exciting and fresh sound, combining traditional Indian ragas and time cycles with highly intricate rhythmic writing and explosive improvisations. Accompanying the music are especially-created video projections, lighting and soundscapes, forming a synthesis of music, film and recorded sound which explores relationships between sounds, emotions and visual impairment.
