National Youth Orchestra of Scotland is a symphony orchestra for 12-21 year old musicians in Scotland. The musicians in The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland are of the highest calibre and the Orchestra performs throughout the year in a variety of high profile venues in Scotland, the UK and around the world. This New Year, The National Youth Orchestras of Scotland (NYOS) will perform a challenging and varied programme of classical music. NYOS seeks to introduce talented young musicians aged between 12 and 21 from all over Scotland to the rigours of orchestral playing, allowing them to work with professional tutors and internationally acclaimed conductors and soloists.
