Nicky and his band got us off to a great start to this year's 2001 gigs. This is also Nicky's last tour before retiring from live work - and we wanted to see him before he hangs up his plectrum for the last time! He will be a sorry loss to the British blues scene, so come along and experience his wonderful voice supported by the breathtaking guitar of the youthful Tommy Allan. A sizzling night of rhythm `n' blues - not to be missed. Supported by THE RHYTHM METHOD who are a 6-piece RnB/ Soul band from Teesside and Darlington. These guys play guitar, sax and trombone and recreate the brassy wall of sound from the Atlantic and Stax record label. A seriously lively set in prospect with the references also drawn from the cult film The Commitments.
